This is a tense WW2 Battle scene with attacking German Panzers and grenadiers break through American lines, and a G.I. bazooka team lies await in ambush for the tank to expose it's soft underbelly to an anti-tank rocket. The medium is acrylic and pencil on gessoed masonite and sealed with acrylic varnish. The piece was started in 1979 and almost completed. I just finished it up this week, polishing it up and applying finishing touches. My father fought the Germans in WW2, so I always had an interest in that period of history. This piece was done for an illustration class in college. Size is 25 3/4" high and 21" wide. Unframed
