About The Artwork
How often do we go deeper than the surface. All we've learned beauty prevails yet is full of contradictions. This piece embodies the light and dark subject, yet remains playfully and easy to look at, while contradictions are just below the surface. The composition was intentionally done to support portrait or landscape orientation and different subjects in the painting clearly change focus with the orientation switch. This piece is designed to hang landscape and portrait. The orientation changes the subject focus and landscape is softer, vertical is bolder!
