ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is inspired by rural southern Indian women. I got the opportunity (during a visit to our hometown in Southern India) to meet with some very ordinary women by our standards but extremely inspiring in every possible way that we as a modern society aspire. Most of these women have not seen anything beyond a 10 mile radius of their home, but can tackle the entire world for their family. True feminine power house, true heart of gold! Hope you enjoy this work that was born out of awe and respect to these extra ordinary human beings.
