I have always been a jazz enthusiast. What I am most excited about is the style in which I have painted this. It is like finding one's voice as a singer. I have found my style as a painter and this portrait illustrates that understanding. It pays homage to Billie Holiday who, as we all know, walked thwe line between beauty, pain, and talent.
