ABOUT THE ARTWORK
48"x 48"x 1.25" Acrylic painting on a toothy Gesso surface over a Masonite wood substrate. This piece is part of an on going investigation into the power of color, form and substance. During the painting process, the form of the piece will arrive through a 'call and response' activity taking no direct inspiration but rather an all around influence from nature, passage of time, explosive action, and careful resolve. Framed in a floater natural wood frame wired and ready to hang.
