About The Artwork
Another in my series of shaped paintings. These works are inspired by the work of Kenneth Noland, Richard Tuttle and Susan Roth. This painting is heavily textured and layered with interference paints. This gives the painting a real shimmer and the painting changes from almost all black to almost all blue depending on the lighting.

I am a career artist of 40 plus years. My first modest public exhibition was in 1977 and I have been at it ever since. During the early 1980's I did outdoor art festivals mostly on weekends while I served in the military. In 1985 I opened a regional art gallery near Syracuse, NY. We enjoyed a 26 year run, closing in 2011. I currently maintain studios in Sanford, Florida and Bernhards Bay, New York.
