Black Flame Painting

This is an experimental piece. Inspired by Poppy Koning, this piece has my own touches in it. I painted over a copyright free pre-printed picture canvas, which can be seen through in places. I used acrylic paints which I mixed with water into a solution similar to watercolours, though without the pretense. It took many hours of experimenting and learning and trying different things. That and I have 4 colours of paint to work with I've been wanting to do something like for a while, to touch on some Not Fun Ongoing Issues I've been having. The whole bleeding heart thing and that area of life. Body image things because of some scars, my being trans, fun stuff like that. There is a hanging bar on the reverse, though it did end up being off center. It can be hung by the wooden frame instead. It is 70cm diameter circle.
