About The Artwork
My artwork is expressionist with a tendency towards abstraction. The "blue dance" is a representation of life, an allegory. The sensation of being well and in peace that is transferred in the fluidity of the movement in the flowers. The base is made with oil paints in sticks of various colors and enamel on them that let those first strokes that I have applied breathe, leaving them visible. From there, abstract stains begin to emerge in the form of flowers and leaves that dialogue and combine with each other, creating a whole.
