About The Artwork

The artwork is a natural abstracted reflection of the external world and our own inner worlds. This abstract series is heavily textured with an uneven surface due to the layering of paint in areas, thick and textured in parts, and smooth in others. Title: BLUE VIOLET ABSTRACTION Size: 30 H x 30 W x 2 D cm Year: 2016 Media: Oil on canvas, gilding. Style: modern, art deco, figurative, abstract The colors used in this work are magenta, rose, white, blue, violet, green, black, white, yellow, and mustard. This modern art will become an exquisite accent in the interior. Beautiful painting for home and office, the perfect gift for your relatives and friends • Ready to hang, unframed. The image is painted around the edge of the canvas, so there is no need for a frame. • Signed, and dated by me. • I use all professional packing materials to make sure your artwork gets to you safely wherever in the world you may live.

I am an Ukrainian artist based in Austria, My paintings come from a love for the creative process, love for nature, and love for color. I love to work with color and light in representing the places and moods I have seen. Most of the works begin from sketches, photographs, or just memories of a walk. My work is as much about memory as it is about the place. I look upon my paintings as a map of my life, which I am constantly creating. At some point, the painting process inevitably takes over and starts to generate the painting's subsequent direction. To me, it is the way it can morph into a different state in minutes. My finished piece needs to feel balanced to me. Balanced in the colors I used, a balance in the light. Original elements can then be re-introduced to the work.
