Blues Painting

Inspired by water. Rivers flowing, the colours of the sea, movement of the waves, and the rain running down a window. I wanted to create the colours and movement of water in this painting. Using a palette knife I applied layers of professional grade acrylic paint, acrylic grain medium to add texture and have dripped acrylic inks on the canvas. Paint has been scraped away to show the paint underneath. Full of texture and movement this painting has a lot to look at. Metallic paints give a hint of shine in certain lights. Painted on a 100% quality cotton canvas with strong pine frame, this painting comes ready to hang or can be framed if you prefer. The painting continues around the sides.
