About The Artwork
This painting was made after taking a boat trip to Karakoy district in Istanbul. I tried to give the feeling of freshness of the air and freedom, I felt on the boat and even unity with crowd of every day commuters. My eye was caught by a Turkish family, and the girl in a red jacket was also interested in me sketching on the boat.
