Here the light is expressed by a flash that tears the turquoise sky. However, the earth remains dark, revealing in places steep areas. White and black have been worked with a knife to give relief. This abstract landscape reflects the feeling of soothing loneliness I feel in the face of the spectacle of an austere nature in which cold beauty unfolds. I transcribed this feeling by the unique play of blue and green colors, black being used in significant quantity to give a powerful contrast to the whole while bringing a possibly nocturnal atmosphere. The white of the light zones is most often obtained by adding paint to the brush for the fades in the sky and to the knife in thick layer for the bursts of light on the ground. https://youtu.be/3EaytX1aTAU
