The painting captures the feeling of abundance and strength in the artwork. Seeing the woman surrounded by yam, flour, and other items in the basin shows a rich harvest, and “Bountiful Harvest” symbolizing prosperity and plenty. It gives off this vibe of richness and abundance, really highlighting the rewards of hard work and dedication. The title 'A Tribute to Market Resilience' adds a whole new layer to the painting, honoring the strength and endurance of local markets and the people who keep them going through tough times. My painting expresses gratitude, abundance, and the tough spirit of market communities. It’s a celebration of hard work and the ability to keep going strong no matter what. The wood support adds a special touch with its unpainted top surface. The texture and carved parts on this surface create a distinct background that gives the impression of depth, distance, and even clouds, despite not being painted. It embodies a journey, the varied paths and challenges these market women experience
