Titled ‘Breakout your Punk’ This punk girl in the painting is an expression of art that goes far beyond the norms. She has expressive textured hair, a mixture of hues, and thickly outlined yellow paint that creates a 3D effect. Her piercing gaze sets her apart from other art pieces as if she's daring the viewer to understand her story. And though her look may be slightly intimidating, she wears a heart on her cheek. But that's not all the punk girl also has actual jewellery adorning her ear and nose. Her blues eyes are framed by pink make up, enhancing the character of the painting. This painting encompasses expression, from the textured hair, to her sad yet determined expression,. This painting tells a story about someone who is both edgy and vulnerable, it's as if this punk girl is expressing her uniqueness through her art. The gothic punk girl in this painting is more than just a character – she's an individual who's trying to make her mark on the world through art. For me, it's a powerful reminder that art can be used as a way of expressing unique views and opinions. No matter how edgy or vulnerable, art can give a voice to those who feel unheard. The woman exudes a strong sense of rebellious individuality and power, with her bold colourful hairstyle. Her yellow hair stands out boldly against the pink, blue and white shades that adorn her outfit The textured paint adds a sense of depth and texture that enhances the painting even more, giving it an almost three-dimensional effect.

I never really know what to write, or even how to talk about myself especially when it comes to ones own topic. So I will keep this brief. I am a UK-based artist who earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Communication from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia in 1998. I travelled a lot, lived in Australia , which was my home for 7 years. Moved back to the UK and subsequently moved around the Southcoast area such as Brighton, Lymington, Southampton, Isle of Wight until settling back to Bournemouth. I became a Teacher in 2002, and taught Design and Art at Brockenhurst College for 6 years. In 2016 I went to college and studied counselling and received a diploma in art therapy. During my training, I had a small business in Pokedown for three years, in which I sold and exhibited Art, made coffees and sold Vintage clothing with my dear friend Rob. This is where I started my Art therapy workshops for several charities and non profit organisations., such as B'EAT, BCHA, Richmond Fellowship, Rise and so on. I have been fortunate to have exhibited work in locations across UK , including Brighton where I lived for several years, Bournemouth and London, I also exhibited my work at Brush Gallery in Singapore. Over the years I have sold many works to collectors around the world. One particular piece is owned by a well-known figure from the band The Jam. I was fortunate to have also worked on several commissioned works for branding US reality shows such as Gas Monkey, and Orange County Choppers. I have also worked with record labels such as Azuli records and generated album covers for Space Ibiza. In the last few years I have been primarily focusing on painting and exploring my own creative techniques. Playing on the quirky and whimsical narrative and utilising my intuition when it comes to creating my pieces. I do not like to limit my style, but rather I see it as a journey of self-expression. I love combining textures and blending vivid colours together, and most of the time I have no idea where the final piece will take me, I just tend to carry on till I say 'It's Done..' Once again Thank you for visiting my Saatchi Studio. . I am available for commissions, exhibitions and purchases. If you want to ask me anything please use the contact page. I will be happy to discuss anything ( well not anything ) you understand what I mean ..
