About The Artwork
The idea of the Bull of Fire was derived from the myths and legends of Ancient Greece, namely, Rape of Europe, where Zeus turns into a beautiful bull to kidnap his beloved Europe. The blue background stands for the sea which, according to the legend, Zeus had to cross to get his beloved one. The bull is portrayed as flames of fire depicting his burning desire and passion for gorgeous Europe which even the vast sea cannot put out.
