CHAOS Painting

Inspired by the Bible story. Chaos is #2 of 3 in series of paintings depicting the Bible story, Old Testament. Moses on the river Moses floating down the river watched by his sister Miriam peering through the bulrushes. Moses and the burning bush Moses on mount Horeb. The bush was burning but was not consumed. The Passover Blood daubed on the sides and tops of door frames. Where the Lord saw the blood on the door frames He passed over those houses and no destructive plague was inflicted on those houses. The good vine The vine symbolises the blood and flesh of Christ. Exodus Parting of the Red Sea Moses parts the Red sea so the people can pass across. The black clouds hide the Israelites and the white clouds give light for their passage. Moses and the tablets. Moses infuriated by the Israelites worshipping of idols breaks the original tablets given by God and then produces replacements rewritten by God. The original tablets are depicted broken lying on the ground.
