About The Artwork

Cascade" is the name I have given to this abstract painting I made with oil colours on canvas. Although this painting can be interpreted in different ways, I prefer to relate it to nature and the message it gives! 'Let the mind flow freely... Cascading, splashing.... Making a path of its own!!' I like bright colours for it gives a feeling of joy. My favourite being red, black and white, I have added some touch of gold here and there to give a kind of glaze to the painting. I used gold enamel paint to give it a golden touch. Bright and cheerful, I hope to spread hope and happiness with my paintings. I have used good quality paints and canvas, for it is a delight to paint with quality materials. The painting will be rolled and packed in a sturdy tube when shipped.

A natural artist, her journey started with sketches and drawings in her exercise copies, which later converted to paper, canvas, glass and murals. Her art is not confined to any particular overriding theme or colour, but explores the ecstasy of blue sky, scudding clouds and the warm embrace of a pining lover! Her black and white illustrations in the international award winning book "Daggers of Treason", has been much appreciated for its intricate and fine detailing, and she is now working on the sequel for a Hollywood adaptation.
