About The Artwork
Adored in ancient Egypt, exploited in Roman times, hated in the Middle Ages and rehabilitated in the Renaissance, the cat has always symbolized freedom and independence. It has inspired many artists who, seduced by its sinuous and extremely elegant movements, by its somewhat domestic and somewhat wild spirit, have represented the cat in all artistic forms, from painting to literature, from cinema to music; this is my modern version with an enigmatic and indecipherable look.
