About The Artwork
The idea of a girl playing a cello on the Great Wall of China came to me while I was sketching. The thought of hearing music on this great icon of architecture would be breath taking. I deliberately chose her to be alone, engrossed with the music. In the back ground I incorporated a building which stands along the coast in Northern Ireland where I live. “Mussenden Temple.” I thought this would add to the interest.
