Painting: Acrylic, Airbrush on Wood.
A student once told me she painted because "It was cheaper than therapy!" Funny and true, and so I wanted to use that phrase/idea. This painting contrasts those words – nice and crisp, but just a little less than perfectly legible – against an exuberant assault of silly-string-esque glossy fine paint extrusions raining down from the top edge. And oh yeah, it was DEFINITELY therapeutic laying those on!
Edges are the base lime green, with a few errant drips. Work is signed on the bottom of the right edge. Wired and ready to hang.
