About The Artwork

Because of the El Rey Network, I have become completely absorbed in Shaw Brothers kung fu movies of the 70s and 80s. Especially, any movie directed by Chang Cheh. These movies are the "gift that keeps on giving". They're so magical and reveal so much after repeated viewings. This particular piece is inspired by the movie that put Chen Kuan Tai on the map, "The Boxer From Shantung". He was one of the few that actually was a kung-fu practitioner before becoming an actor. 謝謝!
