About The Artwork

Part of a series of works I'm making called signs. Being of chinese decent, born a Malaysian, I'm intrigued by all things chinese and ancient, I don't read or even speak chinese, thus to me this arch could lead anywhere, a doorway of some importance that is at the same time open, yet unapproachable to me.
