Diameter 45 cm In the old part of Prague, in the Vysehrad district, not far from the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, there is an old cemetery, where, unexpectedly for myself, I opened a whole museum of painting and mosaics. Here I saw a tombstone engraved with a mosaic of Jesus and was fascinated. I was captivated by the color scheme of the painting depicting Jesus in cold gray tones, in which I felt all the pain and torment that the Savior experienced. But at the same time, I felt lightness and peace of mind. And having remembered these feelings very much wanted to convey, embodied in his picture "Christ in a crown of thorns".
