About The Artwork
This is a recent work inspired by my love of floral artistry, in particular floral bouquets. Within the past year I've had a part in organising my daughter's engagement party and the her wedding and was really inspired by the beautiful blooms we would come across in our hunt to source wedding decor items. My camera feed is full of many quickly snapped images that I had take of gorgeous floral bouquets, knowing that in the future they would fuel my desire to paint them. I use a very loose style to paint these floral works and prefer to give an implied image of a flower, rather than an exact replica.

Since 2004 she been working with acrylic paint to express emotions and feelings through her gestural brush strokes and color choice.
