The clown, traditionally a symbol of joy, is used here to explore themes of identity, performance, and the quiet tension behind imposed roles. I was inspired by the contrast between public masks and private emotions, and by how formality can amplify vulnerability rather than conceal it. I hope viewe...

Exploring contemporary painting through playful dialogue with global art history، regional mysticism and spirituality and contemporary visual heritage Nora/Lane (نورالعین) Beloved/Light of the Eye I am an artist with formal academic training in Fine Arts from the University of Tehran and Göhte Universität of Frankfurt am Main, currently based in Germany. My artistic practice is driven by a continuously searching spirit and a deep curiosity toward both historical and contemporary visual languages. During my academic formation, I was influenced by leading figures in art history and art theory, which encouraged an open, research-based approach to art-making. Alongside my studio practice, I have been actively engaged with art history, visual culture, and artistic research. I exhibit regularly in Germany and Iran, and my paintings reflect an ongoing dialogue between past and present. My works explore memory, imagination, and the human condition through layered narratives and symbolic scenes. Beneath visually refined and poetic surfaces, my paintings invite slow looking and personal interpretation. Each artwork is created as a unique, original piece, intended for collectors who value cultural depth, artistic exploration, and a thoughtful engagement with the visual heritage of both East and West.
