Cognition Painting

American born, Los Angeles working artist / designer. I've worked at many of the top ad agencies and studios around L.A. as an art director and designer. Through my art career I have learned to work with many different mediums of art including: painting, photography, design, music, and film. I’m influenced by form, light, nature and most of all people. My inspiration comes from people, movies, music, surfing and friends. I utilize mostly oils but have a wide range of mediums I work also include acrylic, charcoal, pencil and spray paint. I use brushes, rollers, palette knifes, my hands and basically any thing else I can use to apply the marks I am after. I am self taught artist but I also attended art college to further my craft. I went to art school in Houston Texas. I won best of my graduating class at my art school. I’ve been featured in many publications online and worldwide. My artwork can be found in private collections internationally, including collections in New York, California, Texas, Washington, Colorado, Arizona, London, Paris, Sweden, South Korea, China, Japan and more.
