Nugzari Novikoff, a talented artist and entrepreneur, traces his roots back to the vibrant city of Tbilisi, Georgia, where his love for classical painting blossomed from an early age. Growing up surrounded by a vast family library, Nugzari immersed himself in the world of old masters' paintings, spending countless hours redrawing and captivated by their artistic allure. After completing school, Nugzari delved into the realm of economic relations, eventually relocating to Germany to pursue further studies at the University of Frankfurt. During his time in Frankfurt, he not only worked with the Goodyear Company but also established a small advertising agency back in Tbilisi. The agency specialized in crafting personalized T-shirts, stickers, and car decals. In 2015, Nugzari's artistic journey took a new turn as he embraced oil painting, selling his small cityscapes at design craft markets in Germany. An encounter with an elderly man at one of these markets proved pivotal, inspiring Nugzari to participate in international art fairs and exhibitions across France, Germany, Georgia, Switzerland, and the USA. His artistic prowess was acknowledged with a cash award at the 2021 ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In 2022, Nugzari received an invitation for an artist residency from the culture department of Antibes in South France, with three of his paintings finding a permanent home in the Antibes collection.  Nugzari's distinctive style, characterized by fairytale photorealism, continues to evolve. From his studio in Tbilisi to the charming streets of Antibes and the dynamic atmosphere of Frankfurt, Nugzari's adaptability shines as he fulfills diverse painting commissions, capturing the essence of cityscapes, horses, banknotes, and more for a clientele spanning various countries.
