About The Artwork
Inspired by my many days and seasons hanging with my parents in Upstate New York. Fields bordered by ancient stone walls everywhere. Rolling Hills, some farming etc. This is a very early work of mine, with cheap Chinese Oil (I use Grumbacher almost always now), but these cheaper oils can get more intricate different colors more muted less dense. This was also inspired by the Grand Master Impressionist Painters, it is a simple, unassuming work, but powerful I think nonetheless.
