About The Artwork
The fluidity of watercolour and ink is particularly well suited to evoking seascapes. Using layers of colour, I wanted to evoke a raw, minimal emotion that concerns us all. Abstraction and expressionism come together here to invite us into a silent introspection. Each coloured plane is a breath, bringing peace and balance to the viewer. Further information: The 325 g/m² paper used for this work is unalterable and acid-free. Produced on a 40x30 cm sheet, it is mounted in a 50x40 cm white passe-partout (i.e. a 38x28 cm visual surrounded by 6 cm of passe-partout). This creation can be framed in a frame (with a coaster) of your choice. You can combine other elements from this series to create a beautiful ensemble. The title of the work and the original signed certification are on the back.

Eric Winzenried, French professional painter born in 1964, lives in southern Brittany where he installed in 1995 his workshop in Auray (Morbihan). A painter of color in the contemporary landscape Influenced directly by his environment, he has long worked around the natural landscape and on all the remarkable sites of the region of Brittany. In the early 2000s, as his more classical landscape work was being modernized towards synthesis and color, he began his first contemporary serie. It is thus after more than twenty years of investigations around the color that he presents this work in constant evolution and with a strong artistic identity.
