ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was inspired after I saw a painting by Yahoo Kusama in a museum. I was mesmerized with the black and red dots that swirled in an elaborate pattern. I experimented on several smaller canvases until I was able to approximate the unusual swirling patterns. This reminded me of a colorful confetti shower.
