Connor's Underwater World Print

This vibrant commissioned work was created for my dear friends in San Francisco that love the ocean and all its colorful beauty as much as I do. They were expecting their first child, to be named Connor. As they were scuba divers and art lovers, and I was the one that introduced the two of them many years prior, they said there was no one else better suited to commission this creative ocean scene than I. I was so honored for their vote of confidence and for the opportunity to create such a vibrant semi-abstract ocean scene. For those that dive, snorkel, or explore our oceans, there's nothing more exciting than to witness these magical creatures in their natural environment. I tried to imitate the varying texture of coral and sea plant life through layering, spraying, masking, painting, blasting, and removing. Though divers know that the deeper you go, the dark and more blue most creatures and coral appear, so I took some liberties with bold colors to emulate the excitement I feel in this underwater world. I hope to share this colorful source of energy with you as a high quality print.
