Consciously Growing My Well Being Painting

This painting is a small 'sample' study and/or practice piece for a large format series I am working on called the Drishti Paintings series in preparation for a solo exhibit (Nov 2024 - Jan 2025 I will call The Drishti Experience. The small study pieces help me figure out the paintings colours, layers and the interplay with sacred geometry flower of life symbol, so that when I get to the big paintings I have confidence end clarity for my creative approach. The underlying question that inspires this series is: How can I Iive in a frequency of well-being? I am fascinated by well-being in a world where we tend to focus on what is wrong. As we cheer on our personal ‘trauma trophies', we focus on our troubles, challenges, and chagrins. I wonder: What happens when we focus on what is right? What is good here? How do we find lasting health, happiness, joy, and wellness? The visual foundation of this series embodies three core principles I have learned from living in the frequency of my own well-being and continues to evolve as I do.
