"Cosmic Identity" from Yehor Lemzyakoff's "Selfidentification" series is a thought-provoking abstract oil on canvas, measuring 100 x 70 x 3.5 cm. This artwork is ready to hang and is delivered in a box. It presents a turbulent, cosmos-like tableau of swirling colors and textures, suggesting the complex interplay of identity and existence. The painting's deep blues, vibrant reds, and striking whites capture the dynamic and fluid nature of personal and cultural identity, reflecting the ever-changing and evolving self. Inspiration and Intent: Inspired by the deep and often chaotic journey of self-discovery, "Cosmic Identity" explores the multifaceted nature of identity through a cosmic lens. The artist draws on the vastness of the universe as a metaphor for the internal universe of the individual, where various elements and colors represent different facets of personal and cultural characteristics. Artistic Choices: Lemzyakoff employs an intense color palette and dynamic brushwork to evoke a sense of movement and transformation, symbolizing the ongoing evolution of identity. The abstract form challenges the viewer to interpret their personal connection to the colors and shapes, mirroring the subjective experience of self-reflection and identification. Physical Details: The artwork features rich textures that add depth and intensity, inviting viewers to a closer inspection of the intricate details and layers. High-quality materials ensure the painting's durability and the preservation of its vivid colors.

Once I was asked: “What is the truth?”. I did not understand the question. What is art? Through our lives we, in one form or another, are trying to discover the meaning of our existence, to satisfy our curiosity and achieve satisfaction through such achievement. It is one's inevitable limitations and inhibitions which frustrate such efforts but which also frequently drive people with artistic spirits to create outside their comfort zone and in some extreme cases leads even to their destruction. I would like to see my art as an unrestricted journey of self-discovery and exploration in search of elusive answers to those and other questions which are often more difficult to understand than to answer. I remember once, my emotional, and admittedly elaborative art expose about my paintings, was abruptly interrupted by a friend, and an artist, saying: “You should not explain the art. The true art speaks for itself”. Forget prolonged explanations. Art is an expression in itself. Just as much as reality is just merely our perception. Is it not?
