About The Artwork
A bright, secluded creek near my childhood home in Ottawa, Canada. I spent a lot of time here and there's a lot of nostalgia wrapped up in this particular painting for me. I used a wide palette here to try and capture the incredible array of wild flowers that grew here in the summer. Mostly applied with palette knifes to capture the messiness and roughness of the plant life that grew very undisturbed here.

I am a 24 year old primary school teacher from Toronto, Canada. I moved to London almost 2 years ago to start my career. I started painting in university with acrylics while receiving my teaching degree with a minor in geography and haven't looked back. I'm greatly tied to landscapes and outdoors through my love for running.
