Cry for Freedom II Painting

This is a feminized portrait of the young Argentinian President, who is transformed and depicted as a woman. As presidents and rulers tend to be male, I sought to challenge the gendered stereotypes regarding power and political leaders. The portrait emasculates not only the political figure but also the image of power itself, allowing us to question the binary association between political power and masculinity and lack thereof with femininity.
