About The Artwork

Traveling the Latin American continent more than two years ago and interested in indigenous cultures. I found an amazing culture in Paraguay, called Guaranies, inspired by this community, is that I paint the Cuña (which means woman in Guarani) eating mamón, another way of calling the papaya fruit in this area of the continent a very typical fruit .
Made in acrylics on paper of 200 grams, with a palette of attractive colors and loaded with Latin colors, it is a painting that tries to represent ancestral and original cultures, very damaged and wounded from the colonization to these days. This painting tries to be a tribute to them.
My style is figurative and a set of polygon shapes that interact and form visibly clearer forms for the audience in people, generally.  Acrylics, 14.5 x 10.6 ", paper 200 grs.
