History against the backdrop of fleur-de-lis: elegance, sophistication, and a special charm embodying the ideals, purity, and courage of a people. This series, born in 2022 as "DNA," emerged from an impulse to capture the essence of nations. Over time, these canvases acquired a deeper meaning; I see...

With gratitude to my daughter.
Without her, this journey might never have begun.
I am a self-taught artist. My artistic practice has evolved outside formal academic training, shaped by observation, research, and personal experience. For more than thirty years, I worked in the fields of law and finance, where I learned to think systematically, recognize connections, and search for the inner logic of complex processes. Today, this experience naturally continues to live in my art.
I was born in Ukraine and today live between Ukraine and Europe. The personal experience of displacement and rethinking my place in the world has become part of my artistic journey, but it does not define it completely. Rather, it has strengthened my interest in the questions that have long been at the center of my work: memory, identity, belonging, and the invisible connections that unite human beings with the world around them.
I am interested not so much in depicting reality as in exploring its inner structures — those that cannot be seen directly but can be deeply felt. Nature, memory, personal mythology, and symbols become interconnected elements in my work, allowing me to explore the subtle spaces between the visible world and the inner landscapes we carry within ourselves. Through these connections, I seek to reveal the quiet dialogue between human experience and the natural world — between what surrounds us and what resonates within us.
Among the various directions of my artistic practice is the long-term research project DNA. Using the image of the fingerprint as a universal visual metaphor, I explore the relationship between the individual and collective memory, cultural roots, and national identity. In this project, the biometric structure becomes an artistic language that allows me to speak about origins, cultural heritage, the experience of displacement, and human uniqueness.
I do not search for ready-made solutions. For me, each work is not an illustration of an idea, but an exploration. Sometimes quiet. Sometimes unexpected. And always honest.
I do not strive to belong to any particular artistic movement. Each work finds its own language and its own rhythm. For me, form emerges from the idea and intuition, rather than from a predetermined style.
I believe that art can gently transform the atmosphere of a space. Not through spectacle, but through presence. Through that quiet moment when something familiar suddenly begins to feel different.
