• Inspired by ABBA’s rock hit “Dancing Queen”, I created the abstract using the same name. • The song is about a 17-year old Swedish girl on the dance floor swinging and looking for a dancing king when the lights were low one Friday evening. • Dancing Queen also made ABBA of Sweden the most popular pop band outside of English-speaking countries like the UK an the USA. • Their volume record sales and earnings from performances around the world made ABBA among Sweden’s top business entities, and their songs were more listened to than those of the Beatles. • Started performing as a band in 1972 with their first hit “Waterloo”, lead singer Agnetha Falkskog married guitarist Bjorn Ulvaeus; While percussionist Benny Anderson married Anni-Frid Lyngstad. • Divorced, remarried, and mostly retired, ABBA’s 2 couples, aged in their 60s - 70s, decided to re-unite in 2018 as ABBA again after 35 years of separation, silence, and seclusion.
