About The Artwork

The painting was painted in March 2021, when it was very cold in Russia, there was a blizzard, and so I wanted summer and warmth. Summer memories are what inspired me to write this work. Delicate dandelions from delicate yellow flowers to weightless white fluffy balls and beautiful stems even in their wilting, beautiful bright thistles, warm grass ... I am sure that such a picture, decorated in a white frame, will decorate any room of a person who loves nature and enjoys it. The picture was painted with dry pastel on special paper.

I am an artist, I paint with pastels, watercolors, oils. In addition, I am a professional writer, author of crime novels published under the pseudonym ANNA DANILOVA (more than 120 books have been published in Russia). My books have been translated into Bulgarian and Turkish. I have lived in Bulgaria for 15 years, and now I have returned to my homeland, to Russia. I work seriously with the pastel technique. I am constantly improving in this, taking lessons from famous masters. I write crime novels about murders, investigations, human passions. I do this professionally. But it is impossible for a woman to constantly write about murders, corpses, poisons and examinations. Therefore, my life is divided into two types of art - literature and painting. I draw every day. I love to draw with pastels, this is such a grateful material, it fits so softly on high-quality paper that he understands me. I like that I apply pastels with my fingers, that is, I touch my work with my hands, which gives it a special warmth. Previously, I painted mainly still lifes, but then I realized that I was cramped within the framework of one genre, and began to paint landscapes. It's great when beautiful summer or winter landscapes, fields with poppies, city views come to life under your fingers with the help of pastels ...
