"David" is a captivating acrylic painting that pays homage to Michelangelo's iconic statue of David. This modern reinterpretation focuses solely on the head, retaining the statue's commanding presence while infusing it with a bold and vibrant color palette. The creative use of neon and fluorescent colors adds an electrifying element to the artwork, breathing new life into the classical subject. The head of David, rendered with strong, vibrant strokes, exudes a sense of stateliness and power, captivating viewers with its modern figurative abstract style. Within the painting, a repeating pattern reminiscent of a rolling motif adds a dynamic element, symbolizing movement and energy. Precise curved lines provide definition and structure, emphasizing the contours of the head. Additionally, a strategically placed circle serves as a window into an impressionistic explosion of color, adding depth and intrigue to the composition. "David" stands as a vibrant tribute to the timeless beauty and artistic mastery of Michelangelo's original sculpture. This contemporary reinterpretation invites viewers to appreciate the enduring impact of classical art while embracing the boldness and vibrancy of modern expression. With its fusion of tradition and innovation, this artwork holds a magnetic presence, offering a unique and captivating visual experience.

"I love figurative art especially painting people and faces. Through my canvases and the use of dynamic strokes and bright acrylic colors I want to convey a high energy towards the viewer. My paintings are subjective, In my artworks I am depicting my own perspective of the subject by capturing a key moment, mood or emotion. At the moment I am exploring fast painting with broad brush strokes, bold color schemes and strong contrasts." Alexandra was born in 1986, in Zalau, Romania.
