About The Artwork
This work is from the series where I experimented on mixing pigments with gesso. So this turquoise color is a result of mixing these ingredients. After the painting dried out I I scraped with spattle repeatedly. Also I used bronze colored oil markers and oil paints. I tried to reproduce the presence of Holy Spirit and the Peace that came the next day after the Great Flood. In the painting the shadowgraph of Ararat can be caught.
