Day and night Painting

I really like the themes of dialectical dualism - the unity and struggle of opposites. Also, the play of the elements and the endless sky excites me. I try to convey to the viewer my point of view of dualism, as well as to show the beauty of color contrasts, and the perfection of tense bodies, in this case, the body of a woman carrying the night and a white horse. They are together, as one, a monolith. The white horse symbolizes the day, followed by the night incessantly, like a developing cloak. The picture is built on contrasts. The eternal theme is day and night, yin and yang, good and evil, life and death. Everyone loves life, but they are afraid of death. This is stitched into our human psychology. We adore light and avoid darkness. But we forget that one is an inevitable continuation of the other. Eternal cycles of birth and death, sunrise and sunset. The painting was done in a classical manner, with oil paints on a stretched canvas. Without suspension.
