Dendrocopos major Painting

Nulla ars imitari sollertiam potest naturae*, i am just an observer, an examiner. Nature is my spiritus movens*. I am fascinated of pure earthly, physical appearance, animal. I do not pull my heroes from the kingdom of supernatural fantasy, I do not try to go beyond reality. In my laboratory I grow animals “from thin hair to thin hair”. The smallest, barely visible details I am trying to paint microscopically consistent, just photographically. In canvas I restore natural existence, perfect creation of nature – animal. Trees, butterflies, birds are those things guiding us forward, into something that is eternal Longer than our life journey.
