Music and the effect on peoples life is the inspiration behind this piece, particularly the violin, the mesmerizing sound of violins and the effect in the brain, there's a particular story that reminds in my head that got me obsessed with violins, the sonata from Tartini, homonymous to this artwork, where Tartini himself had written down the piece after waking from a particularly vivid dream of the Devil playing a violin with ferocious virtuosity, in the dream Tartini encounters the Devil and promises his soul if he gives him the most beautiful sonata, which then the devil plays for him, to this day the sonata still known as one of the most difficult pieces to play.
