Toli Menkiv is painter, graphic artist, designer, art teacher and events curator. Toli's passion for life, people and travel is seen through his art. He was educated in Painting and Fine Arts in Dnipropetrovsk Art College (1986 – 1991) in Dnipro city, Ukraine and Graphic Art and design in Ukrainian Academy of Printing (1992 – 1998) in Lviv, Ukraine. He is member of the DUU (Designers Union of Ukraine) and «Society of Designers» International Association since 2004. Toli also is co-founder and chairman of the DUU in Dnipropetrovsk, co-founder and curator of annually design event – COW International Design festival (http//). Toli is a socially active artist and event curator. He organize and carry out various actual social action, exhibitions and workshops. As the volunteer, he organized project "Doctor saves the body, art rescues the soul". As part of the project, he teach painting for wounded soldiers in a military hospital, to help them get rid of the post traumatic syndrome and help to return to civilian life. Also Toli organizes exhibitions of works of soldiers and auctions to raise funds to support the project. For his work Toli was awarded many important awards including Medal For Service to the City of Dnepropetrovsk [Ukraine], Medal of Honor from the DUU (Designers Union of Ukraine) for the powerful contribution he has made to the development of design in Ukraine and Gold Medal named after Alexander Rodchenko (awarded from «Society of Designers» International Association) and other. He was invited to jury member and as a speaker to different prestigious events both in Ukraine and abroad. He also exhibited his works at many important exhibitions, biennial and triennial in more than 20 countries worldwide.
