This work is one of the three created in the transitional stage as my presentations swing back into imageries from abstraction in this latter half of 2017. The colours and lines no longer drift afloat in the centre of the page, instead they expand towards the edges. It is done on 300 g water colour paper with embossed gold area; this catches a different perspective as the light of your room changes. It is the air of this piece that stands out from the rest. It takes years and years of practice for an artist to be able to whip a line or two within seconds, with all the contrast of space and proximity of lines done at once. Then spend weeks of pondering to justify where the colours and textures go to arrive at a work so unique. My concept and practice in this approach of abstraction is nowhere to be found. Abstraction is like a black hole which attracts artists into its presence. But when millions of artists are doing abstracts, it is hard to distinguish the good. I refuse to follow blindly for colours. These three works act as a stepping stone which led me out of the void. And most likely, they would be the last of my abstract attempts. In art, one has to avoid where the crowds go to succeed. I wish you could browse through my portfolio in my hmpg to follow my years of explorations as an artist. I think this is the very reason why my work is an investment and not just another piece of art on the wall.

A purchase stays with you for life, your inheritance even, examine and follow the years of development behind before jumping into a contemporary trend that passes. The findings of my paintings/drawings are based on l'automatisme, one that has gone beyond the discovery stage. These work are substantiated with an authentic concept grounded in History. I have demonstrated a lifetime of exploration in the use of lines and shapes, ones that are expressive, experimental, cultural and calligraphic. In art, the potentials lie in that the artist represents a world of his own. Kire believe in score music over Klee/Miro’s musical floating elements in presentations. He brings us a step closer to the musical world in the lines of melody that flow and tie elements tightly into compositions. The intention of where the notation drops should be precise, if one is a good composer, therefore the artist should follow suit. Kire believes that grace overpowers trends and fashion. It is this which transcends the images for generations to appreciate. Whichever era we are in, we are that same human possessing the same emotional needs, requiring that same art quality to fill that appetite. ___________________________ THE VISION. Grace does not come overnight and it is the years behind that makes an Art precious.
