About The Artwork
My painting style is characterized by the use of a sketch-like touch and vibrant color usage. I aim for a simple, fleeting style in which dynamics and rawness play a role. Therefore, I typically work with an impulsively established first layer that sets the tone, and then I work in detail towards a final result, without losing the initial intention. The foundation of my style lies in abstract expressionism, with a nod to the childlike style of Cobra and the composition of Pop-Art. In terms of technique, I use acrylic on canvas or board. If a piece calls for it, I apply additional techniques and materials, such as sand and lime. Product details: Technique: Acrylic on canvas. Additional applications: charcoal, chalk, pencil, pastel crayon, sand, lime. Note: The canvas is stretched on a frame of spruce beams and not over a frame of stretcher bars. Due to the natural movement of the wood, slight warping may occur. It is recommended to place the work in a tray frame. Note: Hanging system not included. The customer is free to hang the work according to their own preferences, without considering a specific top or bottom.
