Distopia [23-12-N1] captures a brooding, apocalyptic urban landscape dominated by a glowing sky of burning orange, amber, and deep gold contrasted against dark, jagged spires. Contact us.At the heart of my artistic practice lies the interplay between planned structure and playful chance. My art is strongly influenced by Abstract Expressionism and Surrealism.
My creative process on canvases—which are mostly large-format—is characterized by frequent layering and smoothing of acrylic paints. In doing so, I use, among other tools, the Japanese joint spatula to adapt the classic squeegee technique to a smaller scale. This creates harmonious transitions as well as unpredictable textures.
It is important to me not to impose a fixed narrative on the viewer—the focus is on complete freedom of interpretation, so that each work opens up its own emotional spaces. In the early years, I therefore deliberately avoided using titles, relying only on numbers and years. I now assign titles for digital visibility on Saatchi Art – but the freedom to interpret the work remains.
My work is aimed at an international audience. I continuously publish new works and participate in global competitions.
