Art Description

Painting: Oil on Canvas.

This is not a dive into the ocean, but into the subconsciousness. It was inspired by the theories of Freud and Jung. The figure in the center of the painting is made up of all kinds of disparate fragments. The head (That has been turned 90 degrees) seems to be hidden in a helmet with a tube attached to it. In the righthand corner there is a jar containing a brain. The brain is also the space in which the diver has descended.
