ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I went Mauritius island for research of 'Dodo Bird'. The island is very small and locate nearby Madagascar. The journey was supported from Ilhyun art museun in South Korea. Dodo are totally extinct in Mauritius island because they could not fly althought ther were bird. Actually, they knew how to fly but forgot. Because the island was too peaceful for them. So, they did't need to fly. When spanish people arrived the island, they couldn't run away anywhere. I thought that the Dodo sending me some kind of messages. If we used to routine, we will forget how to fly little by little. Remember DODO.
